Using the test log to manage tests

The Motif test log is a table of test sessions. There is a test log available per digital test, which you can get to by clicking "Get started" on any of the tests from the Motif App home.

Your test log

When viewing the "Your test log" screen, available in the top nav when you are on the Motif App home, all test sessions will display.

At the top of the table, you have four controls:

  • Find a subject by their Subject Code by typing into the search field.
  • Filter by status (Ready, In Progress, and Done) by selecting one from the dropdown under Filter status.
  • Filter by test by selecting one from the dropdown under Filter test.
  • Sort by any column in the table by clicking on the column heading. The entire set of tests is sorted, not just the page you're viewing.

Each row represents a test session, and will display the date the test session was created, and the date the test session was completed. Depending on the status of the test session, appropriate actions will be available on the far right column of the table.

The right hand portion of the page gives you quick-actions based on the tests you have results sheet balances for, and allows you to purchase new test sessions.

Test homepages

When viewing a test log on a test homepage, the test filter is removed from the table, but all other controls function in the same way.

The right hand column is where you can take actions for the test - Run an individual test session, learn to run the test, and prepare multiple test sessions for that test.

Preparing multiple tests

When you prepare multiple test sessions, you use a similar form to when you run a single test. In this form, clicking "Save and prepare another" will save the current data, and reload the form. It will consume a results sheet license, and put the test on your test log in the "Ready" status.

When you're done creating new tests, simply hit the Done button to finish up. The data you've entered when you hit Done will not be saved.
