How do teachers normally use the CC2 in a school?

We recommend an annual assessment for students, and an additional assessment for students who might be falling behind.

One test for each student at the beginning of a school year sets a good baseline for where each student falls.

If at any point, a teacher feels that any students are falling behind during the course of the year, you can run an additional assessment for them, see whether they need additional help.

For students who had more than one test through the year, finish the year with one additional assessment, to see how they are going before they go on school holidays (which can commonly result in regression).
